If you hate being stressed but think there is nothing you can do about it then think again. There’s loads you can do and here’s just a few of them 🙂# Go for a walk : Getting some fresh air does everyone some good, try taking a walk in unfamiliar surroundings as new routes insure you don’t get bored.
# Sleep : Make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep a night.
# Ditch the sugar : Sugar, caffeine and alcohol have all been known to raise stress levels.
# Make a list : Most people become stressed when they have too much on their mind, so try making a list on a piece of paper of all the things you have to do. At night keep a piece of paper on your bedside table and when something pops into your head just write it down and then you can deal with it in the morning.
# Meditate : Find somewhere quiet and take a few minutes for yourself. Try to relax and concentrate on your breathing taking in long deep breaths..this always helps.
# Talk : A problem shared is a problem halved. If there is something on your mind don’t be afraid to talk it through with someone close. Getting the opinion from an outsider can put things into a whole new perspective
# Eat right : When people are worried they either over eat or stop eating all together. But making sure you eat a healthy diet with lots of fruit and veg can make you feel better in no time.
# Get quizzing : It’s been known that not only do puzzles such as Sudoku help improve brain function but also help to calm us.
# Music : Steer clear of sad songs on your ipod and turn on the cheese. Turn up the volume and have a good boogy around your living room.
# Let go of the past : It’s called the past for a reason. Try not to hang onto anything and just let it go. You’re not going to get anywhere by holding onto it. Hope this helps 🙂 Bexy
