So yesterday the Movie Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law became available to buy (with HMV selling it for only £9.99 for one day only).
I must admit when I first saw this movie being advertised in the cinema I knew I just had to see it…not only am I a fan of the ever so beautiful Robert Downey Jr but thanks to Disneys Basil the great Mouse detective I am also a fan of many Sherlock Holmes mysteries.

Robert Downey Jr is brilliant as Sherlock Holmes and really accentuates the characters eccentricity while Jude Law does an excellent job as his trusty partner Watson. Iv’e never been a big fan of Jude Law and never really rated his acting, I think he relied too much on his pretty boy looks to obtain his film roles and further his acting career but over time his looks have faded and now it seems reality has hit him that he actually has to act in his movies lol. But hats off to him, he is actually a damn good actor!
The film also stars the gorgeous Rachel McAdams who many will remember from her teen flick days of Mean Girls and Hot Chick.

So whats the film about I hear you ask!
Well I’m not even gonna tell you, you’ll have to buy it on dvd and I assure you it won’t be a waste of money because this film has everything from action and adventure to romance and comedy.

Its deffo a winner in my book.
