Mmmm Oreo Fritters

What you’ll Need -oreos, cooking oil, pancake batter, icing sugar

What do do:

1- chill the oreos- make sure that before you make your oreo fritters, you leave your oreo cookies to chill in the fridge for a few hours first, this keeps them from going soggy once you dip them in the pancake batter.

2- prepare your batter mix- add the milk a little bit at a time to make sure the batter stays thick.

3- place 2-3 inches of cooking oil in a deep pan- and heat to 335 degrees (f)- A frying pan is not ideal as the oreos will need to ‘float’ during cooking time

4- dip the oreos in the batter and place carefully in the pan. – leave room between the cookies as the batter will expand and you don’t want your oreos sticking together

5- cook for 1 and a half mins until the batter turns golden brown- turning if necessary,

6- carefully remove from the pan and dust with icing sugar…
