Heres another run down of some of the topics that have popped up in the news this week.

, Wayne Bridge and Kim Kardashian – Apparently Wayne met the reality star in the VIP area of a Miami club while taking a vacation from all the troubles he’s been having in the UK after it was revealed that his best mate John Terry had an affair with his ex girlfriend Vanessa. It was also only very recently that Kim ended her 3 year romance with American Footballer Reggie Bush!

, Metro Station split – After 4 years together the band Metro Station have split. They formed in 2006 and had a hit with the song “Shake it” in 2008 and were also featured on the soundtrack to the new Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland movie. A statement from their management read “Trace Cyrus and Mason Musso have announced that they are placing the band on indefinite hiatus.”. But fear not Cyrus lovers, Trace wrote on his twitter page that he will continue to make sweet music and start a new band under a new name.

, The Bill being AXED! – After 27 years on the Uk’s tv screens “The Bill” has been axed. ITV decided to shelve the programme after a revamp and a new time slot failed to attract viewers. The show is home to many ex-soap stars and has a history of many cameos from famous faces such as Sean Bean, Russell Brand and Kiera Knightly. It is thought that now ITV has ditched the show there maybe some interest from other channels…lets hope the Bill lives on.

, Mars supports England in the World Cup – For the first time in over 78 years Mars bars are changing their original packaging for the England colours. Next month Mars lovers will be able to get their hands on the bars covered in white wrapping with the St george Cross and the 3 lions emblem emblazoned across them.

, Harry Potter theme park – It has been confirmed that the new Harry Potter theme park in Universal Studios in Orlando Florida will open on the 18th of June this year. Fans of the films will be able to visit Hogsmeade Station, Ollivanders, the Three Broomsticks Inn and a giant Castle containing the Harry potter and the forbidden journey ride. It sounds like a magical experience to me.
